Lost Password

Would have been a good excuse why I haven't blogged in a while, but the true reason is I have been snowed under doing nothing for the past few weeks.

There is a new Bodyboard club in SA and the first comp was held last Sunday. The conditions were average, but made for some tech surfing for the final. Karl Morgan took out the event with me coming close second. I later checked the score sheets and found that I had higher scoring waves, but this didnt seem to matter, so I vowed to take it out next round.

I know that we can get a good turnout for the next one. If all goes to plan, we could have annual comps and good prizes.

NSW, VIC, SA

Just drove back from a 3 week stint in NSW with my girl (NSW to VIC then to SA). The trip would have been bad, with only 2 pipe swells, but luckily Christmas was fun and NYE was an okay time- Some Canadian queer got knocked out for slapping boys asses and I left before 12. I'll post some pics up of the pipe swells once I find some...

Stay tuned...

Amazing.

Unusual post-christmas swell has me buggin'

Pretty sure its December 7th, and there is a lot of swell around. It doesn't look like its gonna get any smaller for at least another 5 days either. What could be different from any other Summer? Is it Global Warming? An increase in earthquakes? More people Jetty jumping at Horseshoe Bay jetty? Whatever it is, I'm not wasting a second more on land.

Not much too look at, but it gives you an idea of the stupid summer swell size sucker.

Double Chef, you bloody legend.

Yesterday a bit after lunch I went to the Grosvenor to have a beer with Griv and Andrew. We placed a few bets on horses, and i came up $50 richer after Double Chef placed first. I had a few more beers then originally planned. The night ended in Andrew getting king hit and pissing with blood out of his mouth. The night ended with a few police statements and some pizza, it was a fun night to be alive.

Allo! It's Ally,

Glenn from Turbo has sent me a pair of Ally fins in the mail. They are from a new american company headed by well known big wave charger Eddie Solomon. Im hoping they go well, and by the looks of the picture below, the first impressions are sick.
